Allstate Survey: 63% Ride because of Gas Prices

Posted by Rob  Published in Harley Davidson, Industry News

The good hands folks at Allstate recently completed a survey of 500 oh-so-lucky male motorcycle riders and the results are not so surprising.

That majority surveyed had a least one Harley-Davidson in the garage and spend an average of $20,600 on the bike, and $2,250 on accessories.   70% of the motorcyclists ride a motorcycle only once per week. 45% ride several times per week. 78% of those surveyed said “riding is more fun”.

  • MotoGP - Up to 800cc
  • GP 250 - Up to 250cc
  • GP 125 - Up to 125cc

Next season though, that’s going to change a bit.
