The good hands folks at Allstate recently completed a survey of 500 oh-so-lucky male motorcycle riders and the results are not so surprising.
That majority surveyed had a least one Harley-Davidson in the garage and spend an average of $20,600 on the bike, and $2,250 on accessories. 70% of the motorcyclists ride a motorcycle only once per week. 45% ride several times per week. 78% of those surveyed said “riding is more fun”.
The most interesting statistic is that 63% of those surveyed said that the fuel economy is the top reason why they ride their motorcycle.
